“Amazing coffee shop, you don’t often find a coffee shop to go to and that have an area for a child to play, the toys where all in amazing condition and enough to keep them entertained for hours with books and wooden toys. The staff are amazingly helpful, having a child with allergies they made sure it was all okay and even cut the crusts off which for every child is a dream! I would 100% recommend and they also do the most amazing play dough which smells amazing. ❤️”

THURSDAYS
Breastfeeding & Baby Wearing Support Group with FAB Lancashire

FAB Lancashire visit us to offer much-needed support to local mums. It’s a weekly group on Thursdays from 1pm – 2.30pm — starting out with a handful of mums, we now have a full-house each week so please don’t be disappointed if you can’t visit during this time.

Our unapology

We’re not sorry, sorry.

When we started The Pantry, we made no secret of the fact that we’re family friendly. We even wrote it on our door. Families need spaces to be. Not to be on show, or to be on pins. Nor to be on their best behaviour. Just to be themselves.

That extends to our Thursday groups, where we host the busiest breastfeeding support group in Lancashire, and now sling wearing support. We’re a small space and from hosting one or two mums each week, we now regularly get 20+ women and their babies – which is a full house.

We understand that might be a bit frustrating if you want to come and see us on a Thursday, but please know that the mental health boost and sense of connection mums get from our weekly group is enormous. We make no apology for making a safe space for these brilliant women and their babies.

So, please be nice if we can’t seat you on a Thursday. We’d love to be twice the size we are so that everyone could visit whenever they like, maybe one day we will be.

Thanks for your support and understanding, and we’ll try and remind you about our Thursday clubs as it’s easy to forget.

Lots of love,
Team Pantry.

Fierce supporters of mum’s mental health and your local community. 💛🙏🏻✌🏻🐝

Family friendly & full of beans.

Welcome to The Pantry – the place made for Leyland’s coffee lovers, parents & passers-by.

The Pantry is an established and adored family friendly cafe & gift shop nestled on Leyland’s bustling high street.

We do proper coffee, banging brunches, sweet treats & lots more. As a parent-powered business, we also have kid-friendly menus, eco-minded crafts, gifts & toys. We’re a happy little coffee shop, always full of beans. So if you’re passing by – we’d love you to come & say hello.

Travelling by car?

Free on-street parking is available for 1 hour on the roads surrounding our cafe. If you want to stay a little longer, we’re a short walk from a pay and display car park on Churchill Way (postcode: PR25 3ND).

By rail / bus

We’re a short walk (5 minutes) from Leyland train station and on the main bus route – so easy to be green and take public transport if that works for you.

What about the pram?

If you have little ones, please feel free to bring your pram – life is hard enough without you carrying your toddler. We have an area of the cafe which we’ve designated a pram park so you can pop it out of the way and enjoy your stay.
